Here is what our lovely nurse Brie has to say about working for AMV:
“I have been working at AMV for over 6 years now, I could not imagine working anywhere else. We truly are a little family, yes it may sound cheesy, but the team are not only here to support me, but we have all become lifelong friends. Being mobile is completely different to being in clinic, I love it and would choose being mobile over being in clinic any day. I thrive on the day-to-day challenges, personal rapport building with clients, driving around the sights of Sydney, and finding new cafes for lunch or a coffee is a bonus.
Our service is tailored and offers a personable consultation in their own home or in our fully decked out mobile consultation van, overall providing our client’s and patients a more relaxed and happier vet visit. I love the mobile vet lifestyle it is accommodating and well suited for every vet and nurse. P.S if we finish our consultations earlier than expected we get to go home instead of cleaning for hours on end #worklifebalance.”
As we continue to grow & add to the family, Petstock Group was formed....acknowledging our history, where we’ve come from and all we have achieved...we have now come together for the pets that inspire us! We are all about...People, Pets & Planet

Our recently refurbished and expanded hospital is bright, clean and spacious.
Please click here to see photos!
Our nurses are highly competent and trained to allow you to focus on our patient’s care and client’s needs.
We’re small enough to know many of our clients by name but large enough to see lots of interesting cases; and to support each other as needed.
Our appointments allow you plenty of time to work up cases and keep on top of your work.
Lunch breaks are mandatory and time is scheduled for case notes. Nurses will do your call backs.
The clinic closes at 6pm Monday-Friday, 12 noon Saturday. Vets are on their way home at 5pm during the week and 12 sharp on Saturday.
Dogs and cats only. No afterhours or Sunday work is required.
Ideally you will bring enough experience to work independently and a desire to learn new skills.

We like people who are interested in their own growth; and we are happy to facilitate your continued development. If you have a year or two of experience and really want to expand your medical and surgical skills this is the place for you.
We use RxWorks and have a dedicated surgery suite, radiography room, large treatment area and laboratory. We also have a dedicated euthanasia room, great puppy preschool space, a well-stocked (coffee machine and dishwasher included!) lunch room, and more. Have a look at our website:
https://www.localvet.com.au/Wollondilly/TakeAHospitalTour.aspx
Salary is negotiable based on ability and is expected to range from $80-$130K.
The ideal applicant will be experienced and fill a permanent, full-time position. However, hours are negotiable, part time work is available and new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
With a growing need for veterinary services in the area it’s time for more vets to join our team.
You are: A good communicator, looking forward to joining a happy team that enjoys coming to work.
We are: A fun team, with excellent clients, in lovely premises, and are an all-round great place to work!
