PORT LINCOLN, EYRE PENINSULA - MIXED OR SMALL ANIMAL
VET WANTED: Likes Animals, Can Hold Their Bladder for Hours (Optional, But Impressive)
Location: Port Lincoln, SA | Vets On Eyre
Hey, you. Yes, you—the vet who’s scrolling job ads looking for something that doesn’t sound like corporate jargon or an endless list of unrealistic expectations.
Let’s cut to the chase: We’re looking for a veterinarian to join our team at Vets On Eyre. Part-time or full-time, smallies or mixed—let’s chat and figure out what works for you.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
✅ Port Lincoln = Coastal Paradise – Think fishing, diving, surfing, hiking, and camping on your days off. Goodbye, traffic. Hello, ocean breezes.
✅ Mixed Practice, Rural Vibes – 80% smallies, 10% equine, and a sprinkling of sheep and cattle for good measure. Once we are back fully staffed with vets we aim to re-commence our remote vet visits to coastal towns—so if you love road trips, this could be your jam.

Who We’re Looking For:
✔️ A vet who’s confident enough to handle a shift solo but knows when to call in backup.
✔️ Bonus points if you know the difference between a cat that’s “just a little spicy” and a cat that has murder in its eyes.
✔️ Experience is great, but if you’re a new grad with a solid attitude, resilience and a willingness to learn, we’d love to support you.
✔️ Mixed practice skills are a plus, but if you prefer to stick to small animals, we can make that work.
