Geelong Animal Referral Services (GARS)
Small Animal Surgery Internship
We are looking for another dynamic team player who is focused on advancing their small animal surgical skills and knowledge. This position is perfectly suited to candidates who have completed a rotating internship and memberships (or wish to enrol in the program), although we will consider all candidates. At GARS you will enjoy exposure to a diverse and high-volume case load with excellent support and training from senior surgeons, residents and specialists in other departments. A phenomenal team of residents, discipline specific and rotating interns and nurses also ensures an outstanding team environment. About Us
GARS is a privately owned, multidisciplinary, small animal referral hospital. The hospital is staffed 24/7 with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, emergency critical care, diagnostic imaging and Oncology. Specialists are supported by an outstanding team of residents, interns, nursing, HR and customer service staff.
The GARS vision is to be Victoria’s leading referral centre. Extending beyond our first-class facility, we are dedicated to recruiting like-minded, team players to help achieve this goal. The hospital is brand-new and purpose-built. It is surrounded by beautiful greenspaces, overlooking the Barwon River, Balyang sanctuary and Balyang Golf course. The facility is packed with state-of-the-art equipment, some of which includes; onsite MRI, CT, C-arm Video Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy, Ultrasound, DR radiography, multiparameter patient monitoring, mechanical ventilators, ECG, blood gas/electrolyte, coagulation, haematology and biochemistry machines.
For the successful applicant, there is also opportunity to work within our sister business, Melbourne Animal Referral Services (MARS) if so desired. This business is also undergoing exciting expansion.
About the area
GARS, located in Newtown Geelong, overlooks the Balyang Golf Course and Barwon River with bike and walking paths right on our front doorstep. The popular cafes, restaurants and bars of Pakington street and Geelong CBD are only less than 10 minutes away. The outstanding wineries and distilleries of the Bellarine peninsula and beautiful beaches of the Torquay Surf Coast and the famous Great Ocean Road are less than 25 minutes away. Transport links are excellent, with the South Geelong train station less than 3kms from the hospital, the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry, Avalon and Melbourne International Airports, 15, 25 and 60 minutes from the hospital. Major arterials are also close by, offering fast and easy connections to Melbourne, Victoria’s North, West and South.
About the GARS Surgery Service
The surgical department consists of five surgical specialists with a team of residents, interns and nurses who are supported by specialists in imaging, medicine, oncology and critical care to provide stellar patient care.
Our three operating theatres are truly enviable, overlooking the neighbouring golf course with each fully equipped with endoscopic towers, mono/bipolar electrocautery, suction and Bipolar Vessel Sealing Devices. Two of the theatres also have electric fluoroscopic tables to facilitate minimally invasive image guided neurologic, orthopaedic and interventional radiology procedures. We have multiple locking plate systems (LCP, SOP, Fixin) in all sizes from 1.5 to 4.5mm plus a complete speciality plate range (DPO, SHO, PCA, PanTA, ParTA, supracondylar etc). We also have Biomedtrix iLoc Interlocking nail system, IMEX circular and linear ESF in all sizes.
As Victoria’s leading joint replacement and resurfacing centre, we are the only site equipped and performing Biomedtrix THR (nano, micro, standard, giant and lateral bolt systems), Biomedtrix Total Elbow Replacement, Arthrex CUE, SynACART and Kyon PGR.
For soft tissue procedures, we have a comprehensive range of laparoscopic and thoracoscopic equipment plus all the staplers, Norfolk (Sub, AUS) and Infiniti (IH PSS) interventional radiology equipment and implants. For neurosurgery, we have Stryker electric neurosurgical systems and a comprehensive range of instrumentation. Hospital flow and ergonomics has been specifically designed for easy patient flow between MRI/CT/Imaging/theatres and recovery.

Position details
- The surgery internship is designed to ensure you develop a deeper level of knowledge and competence in all areas of small animal surgery by the completion of the program.
- Mentorship, training, support, and guidance provided by a dynamic group of Specialists (Surgery, Internal Medicine, Imaging, Oncology and Emergency and Critical Care) and a supportive team of nursing staff.
- Involvement in daily hospital and medicine rounds, in-clinic tutorials and journal club
- Mentorship and support for interns to pursue ANZCVS membership (if not already completed) and develop research projects is supported and encouraged.
- Continuing education support, including attendance at conferences is supported and encouraged.
- Guidance and support provided for applications to Residency programs, both within GARS, MARS and external institutions.

About You
You will have the following;
- Registered as a veterinarian in Victoria
- General practice experience or completion of a rotating internship

Pay and Conditions
- 12month (may be extended up to 18months) full-time position based on a 4 x 10 hour shift working week.
- Regular working hours are 8.00am-6.00pm with some weekend and public holiday work also required on a shared roster.
- Annual leave, personal/carer’s leave, parental leave, compassionate leave and community service leave will accrue and be provided in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

About the Role:
Our 12-month internship is structured to provide practical experience in and advance your knowledge of small animal surgery. This is suitable for those who are considering undertaking eventual residency training.

About the Position:
The position is for a hospital based Equine practitioner who will have a primary focus on assisting with daily hospital inpatient care and anaesthesia for surgical cases. You would have the opportunity to work alongside our North American board-certified surgeon and our senior vets with special interests in medicine to help you manage hospital and surgical cases. The position will also involve attending to in field emergency calls and routine dentistry procedures There is also the opportunity to work alongside some of Western Australia’s most experienced reproduction veterinarians as they manage our Equine breeding programs.

The full-time roster is a 4-day working week with on call duty being one night a week and one weekend each 7 weeks. Weekends are spit into a two-part shift and a Friday long weekend is given after every Saturday/Sunday on call. A senior Veterinarian will be available as backup at all times for new graduates in the on-call capacity.
Remuneration:
You will be paid an annual salary starting from $80,00 for a new/recent graduate. An on-call duty allowance for each period of on call as well as renumeration for each active call out attended is paid above the regular salary. Continuing education will both be encouraged and financially supported. We cover your VSB, AVA and EVA registrations and provide a vehicle for on call duty.

The Surgery Internship
You will be mentored for a 12 month period, assisting a team of 6 Specialist Surgeons, 2 Registrars and 2 Residents with diagnosis, surgical treatment, and post operative care of surgical patients. You’ll be exposed to a broad range of Orthopaedic and Soft tissue cases. The surgery department is well resourced with state-of-the-art kit and 6 theatres. Imaging is of the highest standard with digital radiology, MRI, CT scanner, Xray and Ultrasound all readily available. You will be further supported by the largest on-site radiology and anaesthesia teams in the country. Our sports medicine and rehabilitation department has also rapidly expanded. You will work closely with 2 Registrars, as well as a number of rehabilitation therapists, assisting with access to laser and hydrotherapy tank treatments.
The internship has been structured to prepare you for a residency in small animal surgery. The program will run for 12 months, with the option of extending to 18 months if appropriate. This allows you adequate time to complete guided project(s) in the hospital’s clinical research areas. The findings of such research will be presented at a scientific meeting and published in a peer-reviewed journal. You will play a pivotal role in daily rounds and client communication. Assistance in preparation towards membership of the ANZCVS is also available.

As one of Western Australia’s longest running and largest specialist veterinary referral hospitals, we are seeking expressions of interest for potential applicants for its 2025 intake.
Our internship programme is highly regarded and will provide you with a rich learning experience in a specialist referral hospital, learning advanced skills in a positive and supportive environment. Of our previous interns, more than nine have become specialists or are currently in residencies, and others have taken up clinical University positions. Many of our rotating interns remain in stream specific programmes for a further 12 months.
Our large hospital has a broad range of specialists across various disciplines, including Anaesthesia, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, Internal Medicine and Emergency and Intensive Care. We have two intern streams that are determined using a ballot system, so that we can prioritise according to your interest as much as possible.
Our specialists are experienced teachers, and we also run residency programs across multiple disciplines, affording the potential of a speciality career in later years.
The practice is in Osborne Park, a suburb 8km northwest of Perth’s CBD. The hospital has a wide range of surgical, medical and diagnostic tools including new state-of-the-art endoscopy, an imaging department with full cardiac and abdominal ultrasound capabilities, and on-site MRI and CT. We are home to the only Specialist Oncologists in the state.

Advanced Vetcare Kensington is a 24hr Emergency and Specialist Animal Hospital situated in central Melbourne. We also have two branch clinics, one in Geelong and one newly opened in Kew. A 12 month position is available to a suitable applicant as a surgical intern starting in January 2025. The surgery team consists of 6 specialist surgeons, 2 registrars, 3 residents and 3 interns with excellent nursing support. The position would mainly be based in Kensington and Kew but would involve some travel to the Geelong clinic.

The Opportunity
NSVSC is looking for an enthusiastic Veterinarian with at least one year of experience to join our Emergency and Critical Care team for an internship.
This is a unique opportunity for motivated Veterinarians with an interest in pursuing further ECC training or who intend to sit memberships. In this position you will work directly with a Criticalist and be supported to provide care to our most critical patients. You will be guided to perform procedures and work with machines not commonly encountered in general practice.
Through the course of the year, you will have the opportunity to participate in teaching through journal club and intern specific lectures and book club. You will also be supported to sit your memberships (if appropriate) and the RECOVER initiative CPR training.

The Detail
Southpaws is home to an esteemed Surgical Department recognised globally for its expertise and comprehensive caseload in Melbourne. Our surgical team is distinguished not only for its excellence in theaters but also for its significant contributions to medical education and training, both domestically and internationally. We specialise in a range of complex procedures including advanced soft tissue, neurologic, oncologic, and orthopaedic surgeries. Our capabilities encompass Total Hip Replacement and joint resurfacing, laparoscopic interventions, fluoroscopy-guided fracture repair, and transvenous coil embolisation for Porto-systemic shunts.
Supporting our Surgical and Emergency Departments are board certified anaesthetists providing continuous coverage throughout the week across our various locations. Their expertise ensures optimal care for our patients through individualised anaesthestic protocols and ultrasound guided loco-regional anaesthesia for most surgeries.
As a rotating intern you will have the opportunity to work in our busy 24/7 emergency department allowing you hands-on experience in triage, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of emergencies in small animals. You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team of vets and nurses who will help you develop your technical skills and foster your growth as a veterinary professional in a fast-paced environment. You will have exposure to point of care testing that facilitates rapid diagnosis in emergency situations. Alongside technical skills emergency medicine teaches adaptability, flexibility and allows you to make meaningful impacts in the lives of animals and their families in times of crisis.

- Receive direct clinical supervision from a team comprising two ACVECC Diplomates, and one ACVECC eligible registrar

Oncology Internship Program
The Opportunity
Embarking on a specialty internship is a significant step in your veterinary career. The 12-month Oncology Internship based at VSS’ Underwood hospital offers the opportunity to work as part of VSS’s Oncology Service, and be integrally involved in all aspects of managing the service’s clinical oncology case load. The intern will be exposed to, and develop skills associated with, all aspects of oncology practice, including clinical case management and decision-making, diagnostics, staging, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, medical record keeping, and client and referring veterinarian communication. The intern will be assigned increasing levels of clinical responsibility based on experience and progress. The intern will also participate in regular clinical rounds, journal club, and didactic seminars. Additionally, there is the opportunity to engage in clinical research, dependent upon the individual’s interests. This internship program would potentially suit both recent graduates and more experienced veterinarians seeking to enhance their skills in oncology, perhaps with a mind to pursuing residency training. Many of VSS’ interns have gone onto successfully complete competitive and challenging residency training programs, becoming registered veterinary specialists.
About Us
Veterinary Specialist Services (VSS) is a well-established and renowned small animal referral organisation based in south east Queensland, with hospitals located in Underwood, Carrara and Jindalee. VSS offers a broad range of veterinary specialty services, with a spectrum of advanced diagnostic modalities and therapeutic interventions available.
The Oncology Service is supported by specialists in internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, radiology, and emergency and critical care, as well as an invaluable team of veterinary nurse and administration staff. The Oncology Service also has a myriad of tools available to augment case management, including a cytotoxic drug safety hood, ultrasound, digital x-ray, CT, MRI, endoscopy/cystoscopy/bronchoscopy, and fluoroscopy.

ANSTEAD, BRISBANE WEST QLD - EQUINE INTERNSHIP WITH MIXED ANIMAL COMPONENT
EQUINE INTERNSHIP WITH MIXED ANIMAL COMPONENT
3 Positions starting in January 2025 at Anstead
We are currently recruiting new graduates for our 12-month internship position(s), commencing in January 2025. The internship is focused on developing new graduate veterinarians into confident mixed animal veterinarians. This is a rotating internship that is structured to give veterinarians a strong immersion in equine clinical practice whilst still enabling them to maintain their small animal and basic ruminant/camelid skills.
Interns will gain a broad range of clinical skills to prepare them for whichever road they choose post internship. Our intern graduates have gone on to pursue further internships in preparation for residencies, worked as mixed or equine veterinarians both locally and within Australia, and gone abroad to work in the UK. We also offer opportunities for intern graduates to stay on as associates at WestVETS. Our internship is an ideal transition for recent and new graduates who would like further experience before committing to pursue sole equine vs mixed practice or small animal.
A typical intern day starts at 7am with inpatient assessment and treatments. Hospital rounds occur at 8 AM with supervising clinicians, at which time daily patient plans are reassessed. Following rounds, interns will either assist with inpatient re-evaluation and procedures, outpatient, or ambulatory appointments (lameness evaluations, prepurchase evaluations, etc), emergencies, or general anaesthesia. Interns may also perform small animal consultations, with support as needed. The hospital sees an average of 1-2 primary opinion and referral emergencies per day in addition to scheduled appointments. WestVETS has a busy and varied caseload, including orthopaedic/sport medicine, lacerations, colics, pneumonias, diarrhoeas, neonates, and ophthalmology cases. The hospital also sees a number of small ruminant and camelid cases.

South East Queensland is a great place to live and work. Interns are based at Anstead which is 30 minutes from the CBD, and 1.5 hours to the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast. Interns have long weekends and vacation time to explore Brisbane and surrounding area. Our interns have time to continue pursuing their hobbies such as triathlons, hiking, camping, cycling and equestrian pursuits should they want to.

About the hospital
ARH Brisbane, a specialist and emergency hospital at Sinnamon Park in Brisbane’s west, opened 7 years ago and has grown steadily since. Our purpose-designed, state of the art hospital offers neurology, internal medicine, small animal surgery, surgical and medical oncology services as well as an after-hours emergency service.
Facilities include in-house diagnostic laboratory, CT and MRI scanners, digital radiography, electo-diagnostic equipment, ultrasound and endoscopy.

About the internship
Interns work under the guidance of our neurology specialist assisted by experienced nursing staff. Interns also have close involvement with our other professional services, including specialists in internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and critical care.
Interns are expected to participate in daily rounds and weekly journal club or case presentations. They are encouraged to complete a published work during their internship and, if eligible, to work towards completion of an ANZCVS membership examination.
What we can offer
This internship offers an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated, hardworking, experienced and professional individual to work and learn in a busy and friendly referral hospital. Previous ARH interns have continued on to residency positions worldwide.

The School of Veterinary Medicine, Murdoch University has vacancies in the following programs commencing in January 2025.
12-month discipline-specific traineeships

The 12-month postgraduate trainee program is a year‐long, advanced clinical training program in the School of Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University in Western Australia. The training program offers clinical experience in specific disciplines and an opportunity to gain formal scholarly training through concurrent enrolment in a graduate program. These positions would suit a recent graduate veterinarian interested in further university training and upskilling in areas that would be relevant to general practice, or a steppingstone to further clinical training such as a residency. Exceptional new graduates will be considered. An annual stipend of $40k is offered with concurrent enrolment in the graduate program which results in award of a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Studies after completion of 2 semesters. Applicants must be able to start the program in early to mid-January for a Semester 1, 2025 enrolment.

The three-year, full-time residency programs allow a successful candidate to target credential requirements for speciality certification. The residencies are supervised by board-certified academic staff through compulsory, concurrent enrolment in three years, full-time postgraduate study at Murdoch University. Sequential completion of a Masters of Veterinary Clinical Studies (M1223) followed by a research Masters degree is required for completion of the residency training program. A minimum annual stipend of $50,000 is offered to students enrolled full‐time in the postgraduate degrees.
Application for clinical training positions is restricted to veterinarians with a degree that can be registered in Western Australia. Australian and New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency status is required for eligibility for full tuition-fee support. Successful applicants who do not meet citizenship or residency criteria are responsible for International Student Tuition Fees beyond domestic fee support.

Animal Eye Care is a specialist lead ophthalmology-only-practice based in Melbourne – Robin Stanley and Matt Sanders. We also have 4 residents and are seeking an intern. The service enjoys a busy and highly diverse case load including; orthopaedics, minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy), neurosurgery, oncologic and soft tissue surgery.
Our surgical specialists include, Drs Alessandra Santamaria, Ricky Cashmore, Adrian Wallace, Kathryn Duncan and Ben Mielke. Our Oncology service is headed up by leading Oncologist Dr Irina Gramer. MARS hospital is located in the leafy affluent suburb of Hawthorn East Melbourne. The facility is truly world class and benefits strongly from its stellar location with local transport links such as the Tooronga train station, within minutes walking distance and the M1 freeway, also only a few minutes away. The hospital is 1500 square meters and includes undercover parking for pet owners and staff. No expense has been spared in fitting out the facility with a superbly appointed ICU, separate feline and canine spaces, waiting rooms, wards, ICU, 64 helical slice CT scanner, C-arm Video Fluoroscopy, Endoscopy, Ultrasound, DR radiography several human hospital grade theatres and space prepared for a 1.5 T MRI to name but a few of the appealing features.
Our operating theatres have enviable views of the city skyline and they’re fully equipped with endoscopic towers, mono/bipolar electrocautery, suction, Bipolar Vessel Sealing, C02 insuflattors and ventilators. One of the theatres also includes C-arm video fluoroscopy to facilitate minimally invasive image guided neurologic, orthopaedic and interventional radiology procedures. We have multiple locking plate systems (LCP, SOP, Fixin) in all sizes from 1.5 to 4.5mm plus a complete speciality plate range (DPO, SHO, PCA, PanTA, ParTA, supracondylar etc). We also have Biomedtrix iLoc Interlocking nail system, IMEX circular and linear ESF in all sizes. As Victoria’s leading joint replacement and resurfacing centre, we are the only site equipped and performing Biomedtrix THR (nano, micro, standard, giant and lateral bolt systems), Biomedtrix Total Elbow Replacement, Arthrex CUE, SynACART and Kyon PGR.
For soft tissue procedures, we have a comprehensive range of laparoscopic and thoracoscopic equipment plus all the staplers, Norfolk (Sub, AUS) and Infiniti (IH PSS) interventional radiology equipment and implants. For neurosurgery, we have Stryker electric neurosurgical systems and a comprehensive range of instrumentation. Hospital flow and ergonomics has been specifically designed for easy patient flow and gold standard care.
Position details
- The surgery internship is designed to ensure you develop a deeper level of knowledge and competence in all areas of small animal surgery by the completion of the program.
- Mentorship, training, support, and guidance is provided by a dynamic group of Specialists (initially Surgery and Oncology onsite, Medicine, ECC, Radiology and anesthesiology currently sister hospital-GARS) plus a supportive team of nursing staff. Note that we are currently recruiting for other disciplines to complement the Surgery and Oncology Teams at Hawthorn.
- Involvement in daily hospital rounds, in-clinic tutorials and journal club
- Participate in our established journal and chapter clubs, M&M rounds and research preparation tutorials.

About the service and position:
The Oncology service is led by Dr Irina Gramer. Dr Gramer is a highly regarded Oncologist having lead the Oncology Team at the Royal Veterinary College. She is the founder of the Oncology Camp, an educational vehicle to help residents and interns prepare for examination. Irina chairs the ECVIM education committee directly overseeing the training programmes of all ECVIM oncology residents worldwide. She has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and written book chapters in her career as oncologist. Since starting with the MARS and GARS family in January 2024, Dr Gramer has rapidly developed the Oncology Service with traditional chemotherapy, electrochemotherapy, APAVAC cancer vaccine immunotherapy and plasmid gene therapy. At MARS we focus on providing state-of-the-art treatments to our patients that are at the forefront of known oncology treatment advances.
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our dynamic Oncology Team. You will assist with diagnostic procedures, treating cancer patients and consulting with pet owners under supervision. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients undergoing diagnostics and treatment for cancer. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about veterinary oncology and is looking for a stepping stone into an oncology residency programme.

Following extensive training in this aspect you will be able to communicate with clients effectively allowing you to lead more challenging conversations and discussions.

GARS is a multidisciplinary small animal referral hospital staffed 24/7. Onsite specialists in surgery, internal medicine, emergency and critical care, diagnostic imaging, oncology and anaesthesia are supported by residents, department specific interns, reception and nursing staff.

GARS is very fortunate to have the Barwon River, Balyang Golf Course and Balyang Sanctuary with their natural green spaces, including bike and walking paths right on our front doorstep. The popular cafes, restaurants and bars of Pakington street and Geelong CBD are only minutes away. The outstanding wineries and distilleries of the Bellarine peninsula and beautiful beaches of the Surf Coast and famous Great Ocean Road Greater are less than 25minutes away. Transport links are excellent, with the South Geelong train station less than 3kms from the hospital, the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry (from January 2023) and Avalon International Airport 15 and 25 minutes from the hospital. Position details
- Rotating internship, gaining valuable clinical experience in surgery, internal medicine, ECC and diagnostic imaging over a 12-month period

About You

- Registered as a veterinarian in Victoria
- General practice experience desirable but not essential, i.e. we will consider new graduates.

Pay and Conditions
- This is a salaried full-time position based on a 4-day working week. Some of these days will be on weekends. In addition to this, interns will provide after-hours support on a rotational basis.
- Regular working hours are 8am-6pm, however reasonable flexibility to work beyond those hours on a given day is required if clinical responsibilities dictate this.
- Annual leave, personal/carer’s leave, parental leave, compassionate leave and community service leave will accrue and be provided in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
- Some mobile work may be required in the GARS mobile service and our sister business Melbourne Animal Referral Services (MARS).
- Superannuation paid additional to salary package at 11.0%
- CPD allowance is 2% of base wage
- Radiation Licence expense covered during employment.

The Role:
This 12–18-month internship opportunity will be rotating through our speciality departments including surgery and medicine, plus the opportunity to spend time in our emergency, diagnostic imaging and oncology service.
You will be exposed to a varied and diverse caseload and be involved in patient care, case management, assisting in theatre, completing accurate and timely patient records, as well as actively engaging with clients, ensuring they stay well-informed and satisfied.
Your time in the emergency service will be a supported after-hours role involving consultation and workup of referred and first opinion cases. We run a regular study group and Journal Club involving topic reviews and journal article reviews that you will have the opportunity to attend and present at.
About You
The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional task management skills along with an enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude. Previous experience in either a general practice clinic or referral setting with eligibility for veterinary registration in NSW.

About the Internship
Join our high-volume Emergency and Critical Care Department, where we handle over 10,000 cases annually. It is focused on the provision of clinical exposure, structured mentorship and continuing education to engender confidence, develop clinical competence and serve as an introduction to the academic aspects of emergency and critical care. The program has a fixed term of 12-months and is full-time. The majority of the year would be spent within the Emergency Department, but there would also be short rotations through other specialist departments.

- Early active participation in the ECC environment without the immediate pressure of primary case responsibility and a progressive transition to case responsibility based on readiness, and with the support and guidance of assigned mentors. - Active involvement in daily ECC rounds and attendance at regular ECC tutorials

- Encouragement, support and provision for preparation for Membership examinations of the Australian and New Zealand College (if eligible) or other post-graduate training opportunities – we have had 4 veterinarians pass membership exams in the last 2 years!
- Consistent exposure to a large, diverse caseload supports familiarity with common presentations and ensures early application of knowledge.

NSVSC is looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian with at least one year of experience to join our internal medicine team for a 12-month internship. This is a great opportunity for motivated veterinarians with an interest in pursuing further training or who intend to sit memberships.
