COOMBABAH, GOLD COAST - SMALL ANIMAL
Friendly Veterinarian
Are you looking for something better? Thinking about a change of scenery? Returning to the work force wanting more flexible hours?
Keep reading as this may be the right position for you!
Happy Paws Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal clinic located in the northern end of the Gold Coast, opened in 2017 by Dr Vanessa. Our service is client centred with a strong focus on preventative medicine. We love the people and their pets and work towards best outcome for all.
We are seeking a friendly veterinarian whose values align with our clinic culture of providing high quality veterinary care.
“My why – Since graduating in 1999 I have worked in a variety of independently owned and corporate practices throughout Canada, the UK and Australia. I dreamt of a clinic where 30 minute consultations would be considered standard to be able to deliver exceptional service, be thorough and still have enough time to develop a meaningful relationship with clients. A clinic where staff would embrace team culture based on respect and integrity, working alongside people who share a true passion for their job and enjoy coming to work, where mistakes would be viewed as learning opportunities and feedback would be both encouraged and welcomed. Six years on, not only has my dream become reality, but we are in the process of becoming bigger and better with a clinic expansion. The expansion includes a separate cat entrance, waiting room, consult rooms and hospital ward (we are aiming to receive the gold level Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation). Additionally, the expansion will give us a new and improved staff room, a dedicated dental suite and a large imaging room with DR xray and a new Mindray Vetus E7.” Dr Vanessa Escott

SUNSHINE COAST - SMALL ANIMALS
Want a job that supports you in a way that your career flourishes?
Hey, I'm Dr Sian and together with Dr Chris we own and operate All Animal Veterinary Services.
We all know that Vets are in high demand and are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a job.
That's a bit different to when we first graduated!
And whilst that's different…
What has stayed the same is the challenge of trying to decide who to trust to support you in your career and find a clinic that is the right fit for you!
Being a vet is a fantastic and rewarding career…
One in which you have worked very hard to be a part of.
When Chris and I started our clinic we were very clear that when the time came to take on board associate Vets that they would be supported, valued and encouraged to thrive in their career and that we would provide a culture that allows them to do so.
If that is what you are looking for then All Animal Veterinary Services is the clinic for you!
- Now we could brag…but we have all the usual fun toys…
- We are a privately owned small animal clinic with no after hours...
- We pride ourselves on a fun loving culture with a tight knit team...
- We practice high standards of care for our patients…
- Minimum 2yrs experience preferred…
And we are on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland!!
Please click here to see photos!
But you should ignore all that and instead listen to what Dr Bri has said about her experience…
"All animal Vets has been a wonderful clinic to work at. I started about three years ago as a recent graduate and have been provided lots of support from the senior vets, plenty of chances for learning and development as well as encouragement of continued professional development opportunities.
It is a busy, at times fast-paced clinic, with lots of exposure to interesting and varied cases and surgeries. We have such an enjoyable, positive clinic culture, we're always up for a laugh while getting in and working together to get the job done!"
If this sounds like the kind of clinic you might like to start or further your career then I'd love to hear from you!
All you need is a keen attitude to learn and a good sense of humour…
(And a Vet degree... you will need one of those!)
And we will help you with the rest.
If you'd like to learn more flick me a text or give me a call on 0415 569 683.

The team was very welcoming and is extremely supportive. You have the ability to work up both surgical and medical cases to a high degree and most importantly you have dedicated time in the day to do this (instead of needing to do them between consults etc). They value your mental health and this is evident in multiple ways. Continuing education and progression is at the forefront of conversations as well, and they’re keen to see you excel in the veterinary profession. The nursing and support staff are trustworthy and skilled, which helps you to be able to focus on managing your case load. The rosters are done a couple months in advance, so this helps to have a positive work life balance. If you’re looking for a supportive team, interesting cases, thoughtful management and a workplace you look forward to coming into each day, then Park Ridge Animal Hospital is the veterinary hospital for you.”
