COOMBABAH, GOLD COAST - SMALL ANIMAL New Graduates welcome

Friendly Veterinarian

Are you looking for something better? Thinking about a change of scenery? Returning to the work force wanting more flexible hours?
Keep reading as this may be the right position for you!

Happy Paws Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal clinic located in the northern end of the Gold Coast, opened in 2017 by Dr Vanessa. Our service is client centred with a strong focus on preventative medicine. We love the people and their pets and work towards best outcome for all.

We are seeking a friendly veterinarian whose values align with our clinic culture of providing high quality veterinary care.

My why – Since graduating in 1999 I have worked in a variety of independently owned and corporate practices throughout Canada, the UK and Australia. I dreamt of a clinic where 30 minute consultations would be considered standard to be able to deliver exceptional service, be thorough and still have enough time to develop a meaningful relationship with clients. A clinic where staff would embrace team culture based on respect and integrity, working alongside people who share a true passion for their job and enjoy coming to work, where mistakes would be viewed as learning opportunities and feedback would be both encouraged and welcomed. Six years on, not only has my dream become reality, but we are in the process of becoming bigger and better with a clinic expansion. The expansion includes a separate cat entrance, waiting room, consult rooms and hospital ward (we are aiming to receive the gold level Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation). Additionally, the expansion will give us a new and improved staff room, a dedicated dental suite and a large imaging room with DR xray and a new Mindray Vetus E7.” Dr Vanessa Escott

I am looking for a vet with 3-4 years + experience who is interested in running a practice with all the usual in house diagnostic toys, and treating patients and clients according to best practice medicine and surgery, not best turnover or return to the directors.

THORNLANDS, CITY OF REDLAND - SMALL ANIMAL

Veterinarian - Surgeon

We are looking to add an additional Surgeon to our already amazing team! We are looking for someone who has a high level of care and attention, exceptional patient care and a fun, down to earth personality. Ideally, the perfect candidate will be happy to work autonomously, but also be equally as excited to be part of a wonderful close-knit team and continue to learn from and work with our very experienced vets.

We currently have an amazing, dedicated surgeon who has been with us for many years, and we are looking for someone to add to our team with a focus on Surgery to work with him and our surgical team. Experience required is varied – we have a great case load and are able to perform most things in house, i.e. most orthopaedics, complex soft tissue procedures and similar but we would be open to someone that could bring additional experience and expertise in these areas, or someone that is equally happy to learn and develop alongside our current team.

We are a large veterinary hospital, supported by an incredible vet, nurse and reception team – there would be an option to focus solely on surgical procedures and hospital cases for this role, or a mix of consulting and surgery. We are happy to chat with you about what will work best, and we are ready to invest in you as part of our REDVET family.

SUNSHINE COAST - SMALL ANIMALS

Want a job that supports you in a way that your career flourishes?

Hey, I'm Dr Sian and together with Dr Chris we own and operate All Animal Veterinary Services.
We all know that Vets are in high demand and are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a job.
That's a bit different to when we first graduated!
And whilst that's different…
What has stayed the same is the challenge of trying to decide who to trust to support you in your career and find a clinic that is the right fit for you!
Being a vet is a fantastic and rewarding career…
One in which you have worked very hard to be a part of.

When Chris and I started our clinic we were very clear that when the time came to take on board associate Vets that they would be supported, valued and encouraged to thrive in their career and that we would provide a culture that allows them to do so.

If that is what you are looking for then All Animal Veterinary Services is the clinic for you!

And we are on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland!!

Please click here to see photos! photos

But you should ignore all that and instead listen to what Dr Bri has said about her experience…

"All animal Vets has been a wonderful clinic to work at. I started about three years ago as a recent graduate and have been provided lots of support from the senior vets, plenty of chances for learning and development as well as encouragement of continued professional development opportunities.
It is a busy, at times fast-paced clinic, with lots of exposure to interesting and varied cases and surgeries. We have such an enjoyable, positive clinic culture, we're always up for a laugh while getting in and working together to get the job done!"

If this sounds like the kind of clinic you might like to start or further your career then I'd love to hear from you!

All you need is a keen attitude to learn and a good sense of humour…
(And a Vet degree... you will need one of those!)

And we will help you with the rest.

If you'd like to learn more flick me a text or give me a call on 0415 569 683.

KENMORE/SUNNYBANK, BRISBANE WEST & SOUTH - SMALL ANIMAL

VETERINARIAN REQUIRED
FULL-TIME, SMALL ANIMAL CLINIC
KENMORE/SUNNYBANK, BRISBANE QLD

About us:
We’re an innovative small animal practice based in Brisbane, QLD. We’ve integrated an advanced house call practice with well-equipped hospitals to create a busy general practice with a wide diverse case load.

Our veterinary team is made up of 12 vets of experience levels ranging from 1 to 20 years. 3 of our team have membership qualifications. We believe strongly in general practice veterinarians ‘specialising’ in specific areas of interest (medicine, surgery, dentistry, radiology, behaviour, palliative care) - pursuing and advancing their skills in certain fields and opting out of others. We also support those vets who want to develop their skills in all aspects of general practice.

Although we offer an after-hours service, this is staffed separately to our day service, so there is no on-call/after-hours requirement for this role.

Our veterinary team are well supported by a team of veterinary technicians and nurses, and dedicated reception staff. Our clinics are equipped with all the necessary equipment to fully work-up cases and provide an exceptional standard of care.

About you:
We’re looking for an experienced vet for an in-clinic role. We need someone with a broad background in general practice who’s capable of providing support and evidence-based advice on surgical, medical and dentistry cases. With several recent graduates on our team, we need someone who is supportive of younger vets and patient and calm when training. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being a vet and is keen to help their colleagues enjoy being in the industry as well.

Additional qualifications (e.g. memberships) or experience within a specific field (e.g. radiology, surgery, dentistry, palliative care etc) will be viewed favourably and encouraged.

About the role:
This is a full time (or part time for the right applicant) role in clinic (no house calls). Work may be based at either our Kenmore or Sunnybank Clinics depending on what works best for the successful applicant.

The role entails a mixture of primary case care (consulting, procedures etc) and mentoring of junior vets.

Our full-time vets work 4 days per week.

Remuneration will be in the range on $120-140k depending on the experience level of the applicant. Generous and flexible continuing education allowance and leave are offered.

What We Need

What is the down side?

Who We Are

Here’s what a vet who recently joined the team has to say:

“I joined the Park Ridge Animal Hospital team in mid-2020. PRAH was highly recommended by multiple people - both general practice and specialists prior to me joining. The team was very welcoming and is extremely supportive. You have the ability to work up both surgical and medical cases to a high degree and most importantly you have dedicated time in the day to do this (instead of needing to do them between consults etc). They value your mental health and this is evident in multiple ways. Continuing education and progression is at the forefront of conversations as well, and they’re keen to see you excel in the veterinary profession. The nursing and support staff are trustworthy and skilled, which helps you to be able to focus on managing your case load. The rosters are done a couple months in advance, so this helps to have a positive work life balance. If you’re looking for a supportive team, interesting cases, thoughtful management and a workplace you look forward to coming into each day, then Park Ridge Animal Hospital is the veterinary hospital for you.”
