An exciting opportunity to work an 18-month contract with extended holidays to allow for travel. Accommodation and a car are both provided as well as administration and the fees to work abroad all taken care of.

Tyrrells Equine Clinic is a 6-vet equine only practice situated in a beautiful rural location close to the town of Royston and with excellent transport links to London, Cambridge and others. Our practice sees a varied mix of ambulatory and clinic-based work with patients ranging from sports horses to leisure ponies. A friendly and supportive practice, we are seeking a hard-working team player who is ready to get involved.

As an independent practice our vets are free to make all clinical decisions as they see best and have the opportunity to follow up their own medical, orthopaedic and surgical cases as desired. Our purpose-built clinic has extensive facilities as well as a full range of modern diagnostic equipment including an objective gait analysis system. Experienced and qualified support and nursing staff are responsible for the management of our clinic and on hand to assist with clinical procedures, patient care and administration.

SOUTH EAST LONDON (LEWISHAM) – CHARITY CLINIC – SMALL ANIMAL

FULL TIME VETERINARY SURGEON NEEDED

Part of the well-known and respected Celia Hammond Animal Trust (CHAT) this charity Clinic is in Lewisham in South East London.  Our clients include local people as well as those who have been referred from other practices where they cannot afford the fees and have been faced with euthanasia as the only option.

Our Lewisham Branch Veterinary clinic opened in October 1995 as the country's first low cost cat and dog neutering and vaccination clinic with the objective of bringing affordable neutering and vaccinations within the reach of all pet owners. 

Working for us, you will be looking after owned pets and, as we are also a rescue and rehoming centre, you will nurse back to health abused and unwanted rescued animals and see them move into new, loving homes.

If you want to make a real difference to animal welfare in the City this could be the role for you.

You will improve your skills at the same time.  This is a fast-paced environment; at CHAT our focus is not on profit but using our skills to best advantage.  There is a huge demand for our services and while we work with care and will take whatever time is needed on our difficult cases we don’t hang about.  You will be on the go all day, supporting our Vets and looking after your own inpatients.

You’ll be nursing a wide range of medical and surgical cases including orthopaedic and referral level soft tissue surgeries, as well as routine cases, in a caring and welfare driven environment; you will not be sitting behind a reception desk.  

This is a full-time job, Monday to Friday.  We offer a competitive salary and shared accommodation may be available if needed. The ideal candidate will be experienced and eager to make a difference to the welfare of animals in London.

This is a full-time job, Monday to Friday with weekends and nights covered on an in-house rota basis, with time off in lieu. We offer a competitive salary and shared accommodation may be available if needed. The ideal candidate will be experienced and eager to make a difference to the welfare of animals in London.

Role

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Veterinary Surgeon committed to providing high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred. The practice would consider applications from new graduates also.

The practice provides a low stress, easy going environment to allow you to provide the best care possible to your clients. Consults are conducted from 9am to 11am and 4pm to 6.30pm, with operations taking place between 11am and 4pm.

This role is supported by a wonderful team of RVNs, utilised in their full capacity, the team work extremely hard, and are very experienced. The practice is looking for a team player, that will go above and beyond to ensure excellent standards of animal care, healthy animals and happy clients.

Full and or part time positions considered to further expand their growing team.
