We are looking for a small animal vet, although we would consider a couple of vets who would like to work together. We are based in North Wales so the position would suit someone with an interest in nature, hiking, water sports going to the beach. We are in easy access to city life but probably suit people wanting a quieter life.

We offer good work-life balance so plenty of opportunity to enjoy the wonderful scenery.

We're a busy small animal practice with our own rehab facilities, with some exotics work possible as we are the vets for the local zoo. In 2023 we are also launching our own CT scanning facilities so we think the job will appeal to someone interested in imaging and seeing cases to a high standard with many visiting specialists there is ample ability, opportunities and funding to do a certificate or further development.

We're a young team with loads of different nationalities and a fabulous nursing team in support. Our out of hours is quiet and we have separate on call nurses and staff looking after inpatients. The whole team is sociable and therefore everyone looks after each other.

We are within easy reach of Liverpool and Manchester airport, we are near the ferries to Ireland and Isle of Man and can get to London by train within 4 hours. We think we are in the perfect location for someone that wants to explore and continue with their adventures.

We work a 4-day week with a full day off each week and the days are either a full day of consults or a full surgical day.

We do our own OOH and the small animal rota is 1:5 weekends.

We have accommodation and vehicles available, and we would be happy to have couples apply.

We start salaries from £35k/year according to experience.

We offer 6 weeks holiday plus Bank Holidays per year, and cover RCVS, VDS and BVA fees.

If it sounds interesting, give us a shout! It's a great place to live and work. We have plenty of cases which we work up to a high level and previous vets and locums have said that it's a great practice to learn in!
