MORRINSVILLE, WAIKATO REGION - MIXED / DAIRY VET New Position

Experienced Mixed / Large Animal Veterinarian - Morrinsville
Leadership/shareholder opportunity

We are Veterinary Clinic Morrinsville.  Our clients trust us to look after all creatures large and small: from dogs to dairy cows and everything in between. We're progressive and profitable veterinarians involved in some of the most critical support of NZ's important agricultural industry. And we always have time for the animals that are part of our clients’ families too.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Mixed Animal or Dairy Cattle Veterinarian to join our team on a permanent basis. As well as this clinical competency, the ideal candidate will help to provide leadership to our growing practice, and work collaboratively with our other leaders. Being one step ahead is part of our DNA, so the ability to bring new ideas to improve outcomes for our people, clients and the business is high on our list too. Because it’s important for us to be locally owned (and operated), a shareholder pathway may also be available.

Morrinsville is a town in the Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island.  A fertile farming region in New Zealand, it’s also central to so much of what New Zealand offers. Whether it’s the exhilaration/serenity of the great outdoors or the energy of cities, they are all on our doorstep. At the same time we have a small town culture, ideal for bringing up a family, getting on the property ladder and developing careers with a work-life balance.  For more on the region …

About us:

As part of the wider VetNZ, a cooperative group of clinics with the vision of ensuring better veterinary services for rural NZ, we can also offer opportunities to work in clinics elsewhere within New Zealand, sharing knowledge and resources. We are a progressive animal health business seen as a leader in its field, with other clinics based in rural areas throughout Southland, Otago, and the West Coast. Our clinics are locally owned and operated, and future shareholdership is possible for the right candidate over time.

What we offer:

We recognise that our people are our greatest asset and we work hard at keeping them passionate and enthusiastic about what they do. Being a vet should be both a challenging but an enjoyable experience, and we can provide you with opportunities to develop your interests.

Just as important as what we do, is how we do it. So we value our team, loving what they do, making sure we get the job done right, always being one step ahead, and no matter who they are, they are always in it together.

If you would enjoy a role that provides you with variety, a great team environment and plenty of support, then please apply now!

GLENFIELD, AUCKLAND'S NORTH SHORE - SMALL ANIMAL New Position

It's time to abandon the mundane and embrace the extraordinary.

Are you ready to join a clinic that values individuality and independence in practice?

Look no further than Glenfield Veterinary Clinic.

We are in search of a dedicated and passionate veterinarian, following the successful four-year tenure of one of our colleagues who is returning to the UK. Our outgoing veterinarian is available to provide professional references and discuss the position further with interested candidates.

At Glenfield, we reject the notion of a "work-life balance" and instead strive for a harmonious integration of the two. Expect no after-hours work and a few 6:30 pm finishes per week, with one Saturday in three by roster (9:00 am - 1:00 pm) and no Sunday work. We also offer flexibility in scheduling to accommodate individual needs, such as long lunches for gym workouts.

Our clinic has a well-earned reputation for providing exceptional care to the local community and helping both people and animals in need. The majority of our clients are well-off, but we also serve less advantaged customers. You will have the autonomy to make decisions and provide the necessary care for all patients, without compromise. We will never have to put a family pet down due to a lack of funds, if we have the ability to intervene. This not only helps the community but also provides our veterinarians with the opportunity to develop their skills in treating underfunded animals.

At Glenfield, you will be part of a compassionate and close-knit team who love to chat and tell jokes with each other during the workday. Our veterinarians will assist each other in a caring and respectful manner whenever asked, our focus is on treating the animals not scoring points off one another. Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with digital X-ray, in-house IDEXX blood machine, Ultrasound, and up-to-date surgical and dental equipment to provide the best care for our patients. We are a three veterinarian and five nurse practice.

We pride ourselves on providing our veterinarians with a salary package that reflects the current market and we are part of the ongoing salary survey. If you're ready to join a team of dedicated and exceptional veterinarians, submit your application now. All applications will be treated with complete discretion. We look forward to the opportunity to bring your expertise to the Glenfield Veterinary Clinic.

Please forward applications or enquiries to Simeon Pollock via email: simeon.pollock@glenfieldvets.co.nz We will treat all applications with discretion.
