The Practice
We are a long-established independently owned and operated clinic. We are focused on providing excellent customer service and go that extra mile for our clients and their pets, some of whom have been with us for generations. Our loyal and caring team is friendly, cohesive and highly supportive of one another.
Our clinic is based in Kaiapoi Township, about 10 minutes North of Christchurch City. We are surrounded by newly developing suburbs, which could be suitable for someone considering relocating to the Canterbury region. We have the beach to our east, mountains to our west and to the south we have the Mt Hutt ski fields for recreation.
The Position Details
- A flexible role – part time to full time possible, junior to experienced nurses and even reception only a possibility. Our priority is to find the right person for our team.
- Varied shifts covering the opening hours of the clinic from 7.30am – 7pm Tues / Thurs, 7.30am-6pm Mon / Wed / Fri, equal share of Saturdays 8.30-1pm. For the right candidate the hours of work can be flexible around childcare or personal commitments.

Vetlife is a large privately owned veterinary practice with 28 clinics throughout the South Island, providing our customers with a friendly high quality service. Vetlife Motueka is a busy clinic, offering a full range of companion and production animal services. The team of vets and nurses are frequently involved in a variety of surgeries, and they are looking for a motivated experienced nurse to join their team who enjoys a fast pace and can operate confidently within a professional environment. This is a locum position starting as soon as possible. Length of cover to be negotiated.
Motueka is located at the top of the South Island in the Tasman district, known for its warm climate, orchards, wineries, arts and crafts, national parks, walking and bike tracks and stunning beaches, with the city of Nelson approximately 40minutes away. Motueka is the ideal place to spend some time. The ideal candidate will have diploma level or above vet nursing qualifications, and the hands on experience to deliver high quality nursing care.

Kohimarama Veterinary Clinic is a well established, modern and well equipped, privately owned small animal practice in Auckland's Eastern Suburbs.
We have a dedicated team of 3 veterinarians and qualified full-time and part-time nurses. We are looking for an experienced nurse for a 10-14 week locum from the middle of October 2024
This is a practice with highly skilled veterinarians and nurses who are dedicated to offering their patients the best of care and developing a culture of excellence.
The position involves working 40 hours per week for 10-14 weeks from mid October 2024. We can be flexible with the number of weeks.

Qualities we are looking in an ideal candidate are:

- Veterinary Nursing qualification (Diploma or Degree) or Vet Technician qualification (Degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Technology)

The job includes shifts on surgical, hospital and reception duties. We provide a high level of care for our patients and a high level of service to our clients.
