Veterinary Nurse - Full time position starting Mid March 2025

Kohimarama Veterinary Clinic is a well established, modern and well equipped, privately owned small animal practice in Auckland's Eastern Suburbs. We have a dedicated team of 3 veterinarians and qualified full-time and part-time nurses. We are looking for a qualified nurse with a passion for their chosen career and with commitment to building strong relationships with our clients, patients and fellow staff members.

This is a practice with highly skilled veterinarians and nurses who are dedicated to offering their patients the best of care and developing a culture of excellence.

The position involves working 40 hours per week, with rostered shifts and includes some weekends.

The job includes shifts on surgical, hospital and reception duties. Training is ongoing and nurses are given the opportunity to put her skills to full use. We provide a high level of care for our patients and a high level of service to our clients.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Vet Nurse to join the SPCA Auckland Veterinary Hospital.

Our dedicated team of Veterinary Nurses provide support to our Vets to achieve the best outcome for animals. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and empathy, and as part of the team, ensure that the animals receive quality care and treatment.

We are currently on the lookout for a motivated, compassionate, vet nurse with an excellent work ethic and clinical skills. We can offer the successful applicant a great team to work with, a unique, challenging environment and an opportunity to further develop and strengthen your nursing skills.

St Heliers is the newest addition to the VHG, joining in May 2024. The clinic has a well established client base which continues to grow. Located in a residential area with surrounding businesses, the clinic is just 1km from St Heliers beach!

We are growing our team & full-time or part-time applicants will be considered - 2years post graduation experience preferred.

Opening hours are currently 7.30am-5.30pm Monday-Friday & 9am-12pm Saturday.

The clinic is well equipped with digital xray, in house blood analysis & dental equipment (including dental xray).

Experienced nurses are given autonomy to utilise their skills and collaborate with the team to excel in patient care and clinic logistics while our juniors are well supported as they develop their skills.

This progression of skills is encouraged, with education opportunities available within VHG & also funded with external providers.
