Eastland Vets is a privately owned mixed animal practice that has been operating in Gisborne for over 30 years. We service a large area that encompasses Gisborne city and the wider rural area from Wairoa to the East Cape. Gisborne is renowned for its fantastic weather, stunning beaches, award-winning wineries, and relaxed lifestyle.
Our small animal caseload is around 60% working dogs and 40% pets. The cases we see are varied and interesting, and our nurses have a very involved role with treatment planning, anaesthetics, and after care. Orthopaedic surgeries, GDVs, pig rips and c-sections are surgeries we see on a regular basis! The clinic is purpose-built and well equipped with all the tools to make sure our clients and patients receive the best care possible, including an Idexx suite, ultrasound machine, digital x-ray machine, and iM3 dental machine.
