What the role looks like:
- Manage the daily operations of the practice, including staff supervision, scheduling, rosters and timesheets.
- Ensure the clinic meets all regulatory and compliance standards (maintaining protocols)
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, stocktakes, drug pricing and maintaining accurate records.
- Overseeing, leading and supporting a team of six vets and 14 nurses
- Develop and implement policies to improve patient care and customer service.
- Handle client communications, complaints (immediately) ensuring a high standard of care and service.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency, implementing systems for smooth workflow.
- Manage and maintain our social media pages and website (daily)
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Your skills:
- Initiative and adaptability – we’ll need you to able to think fast on your feet, to multitask and be proactive.
- Able to triage patients accordingly (in terms of emergency care)
- Ability to confidently perform TPR’s, IV catheter placement, blood collections, in-house pathology, cytology and radiology.
- Excellent time management skills – and the ability to think on your feet
- Rx Works Software (prior experience advantageous)
- An empathetic and understanding approach towards clients and their pets
- Experience in nursing unwell and complex medical cases.
- Be a Tafe-qualified Cert IV nurse with at least 3 years experience
- Managerial qualification advantageous (but not essential)

In this role, you will be involved in:

- Book appointments and triage patients both over the phone and in person
