LITHGOW, BLUE MOUNTAINS - SMALL ANIMAL
Feeling like you need a change...?
Do you want to enjoy flexible hours, no after hours and be paid what you’re worth...??
Bored with doing notes, invoicing, and talking about the same stuff day in, day out…?
Wish you could work where you feel appreciated, do what you love to do, have a lunch break, and finish on time?
Well, read on. I’m Michelle, and I am the Owner of Lithgow Veterinary Hospital – a small animal clinic nestled at the base of the breathtaking Blue Mountains.
What I love most about my job is the feeling that what I do still matters, both to my clients, their pets, and my team...
I love that most of our clients greet me as an old friend and that we still have that family feel...
And I still love what I do!
Now, I'm seeking a new team member to join our already fabulous crew.
You would be perfect for the role if:
- You're eager to share the veterinary load with our skilled nurses (think nurse co-consulting, nurse concierge, IV catheterization, blood collection, and basic dentistry). We really value and respect our team.
- You're excited by the prospect of personal growth and improvement in a supportive team.
- You view mistakes as valuable feedback rather than failures and can share a laugh along the way.
- You possess a genuine love for people as much as you do for animals.
- You thrive on innovative ideas and enjoy contributing to a dynamic, progressive workplace.
Important details:
- Enjoy the flexibility of choosing your hours – whether you prefer casual, part-time, or full-time work.
- We offer generous flexibility to pursue your dreams – accommodating school hours, partners' schedules, or even your pet's favourite walk times!

- No pressure to handle exotics, birds, or wildlife – unless, of course, you're passionate about it.
- We're committed to your professional development and offer generous remuneration, a substantial continuing education allowance, and support both within and outside of work.
If what you've read has piqued your interest...
And you're eager to learn more...
Let's arrange for a chat. Text me on 0403 565 705 or email mjmon1@yahoo.com.au, and we can take it from there. I look forward to connecting with you.

CONCORD, INNER WEST SYDNEY - SMALL ANIMAL
Burwood and Bay Veterinary Hospital and Enfield Veterinary Hospital in Sydney’s Inner West are looking to increase our veterinary team with a part time or full time vet, with 3 or more years of clinical experience.
Both practices are together privately owned, with Burwood and Bay being more recently acquired and has since been rapidly growing. The clinic is currently undergoing upgrading and revamping but it has been well established in the community for decades and there is a loyal client base that is increasing daily. We have made good headway into and will continue to increase the clinic’s capacity to perform as much surgical and diagnostic work as possible, as well as practicing an excellent standard of patient medical care. Enfield Veterinary Hospital is also a well established practice that has a high case load of surgery and medicine.
We would love to find someone who would work across both practices. You will be working with a dynamic, up to date, genuinely happy and relaxed team of colleagues, including five divine nurses at Burwood & Bay and around twelve at Enfield.
You must be an excellent communicator with clients and colleagues and be willing to manage cases with the other vets, as we are a very collegial, open group. Happy, enthusiastic and the ability to work sole charge for portions of shifts is essential. There will be 1 in 3 Saturday required and ideally the occasional Sunday (or extra Saturday instead). You will always have owner support available to help manage tricky cases and vets who are experienced in diagnostic imaging and surgery, including orthopaedics.
Pay commensurate with experience and lunch is provided daily at both practices! We would love if you could start by early January.
HOURS
Burwood and Bay
8am - 7pm Monday- Friday
8am - 2pm Saturday
Enfield
8am - 730pm Monday - Friday
8am - 4pm Saturday
8am- 2pm Sunday
Both practices have digital radiography, ultrasound, up to date anaesthetic monitoring, active patient heating, iv pumps, in house biochem & haematology, tonometers, dental X-rays and we are continually upgrading.
If you’d like to look around & meet us, we would love to hear from you.
