MORNINGTON PENINSULA - SMALL ANIMAL New Position

Part Time Experienced Small Animal Vet

Join a veterinary team that rewards you for providing a genuine and caring service, not for upselling clients. Mornington Vet Clinic values positive feedback, happy clients, and patient care above all else so if our values align with yours then look no further!

At Mornington Vet Clinic, we greet our clients like old friends and treat our patients as if they were our own. We aim to provide a service that is welcoming, accommodating, and respectful - and value nothing higher than the relationships we have with our clients and their furry family members. Not only does this help with compliance and recommendations for care being taken, but we believe this is the minimum that people should expect from their veterinary professionals.

Please click here to see photos! photos

Our cohesion as a team means that we can meet these goals across the board, whether from vet, nurse, or practice manager. Hiring staff members with similar values is paramount, as is providing an inclusive and compassionate work environment. Every member of our team is here to help each other and being able to depend on your co-workers makes a world of difference on busy days.

We are looking for an experienced veterinarian with a minimum of 3 years experience to join us in a part-time capacity, covering both consulting and surgical shifts. Our team of nurses is capable and experienced, so excellent nursing support can be expected. As we are a busy clinic, being able to manage time efficiently and make last minute adjustments while keeping a cool head is a necessity, as well as being able to think logically and ground yourself during these times. Communicating both respectfully and sincerely with both clients and other team members is vital.

A genuine desire to work within a team and recognition of everybody's role is important - while our responsibilities may be different, it's what we achieve together that makes our clinic run efficiently and also makes for a happy and balanced workplace where everyone feels appreciated.

Hours: 20-25 hours over Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (hours can be divided over two or three shifts) with one-in-three Saturdays.

Renumeration - $50-80 per hour (dependent on experience) with a performance-based pay review after six months.

If our ethos strikes a chord and our clinic sounds like an environment where you could flourish, please don't hesitate to get in contact! Email a cover letter and your resume to maggie@morningtonvetclinic.com.au
