KEYSBOROUGH, SOUTH EAST MELBOURNE - SMALL ANIMAL New Position

What is this? A job ad with a difference??

No list of all the cool things we have (we have lots), or how awesome our team is (we think they’re pretty great).  No requirement for a superstar vet (we’re not superstars and don’t expect you to be).  If you’d like the chance to interview us to see if we could provide the job you’re looking for, please send your application to nicole@keysivet.com.au

At Keysborough Vet Practice we believe that a trip to the vet should be a positive experience, both for clients and their pets, and even more importantly, for the staff who work here.  We focus on providing quality veterinary care tailored to the individual pet and client.

If you would like more information about us, keep reading…

Privately owned and run, we can provide flexibility and personal service that may not be possible with a corporate practice.  We are looking for a part time experienced vet, although full time hours may be considered for the perfect fit.  There is no afterhours requirement, we are lucky enough to be situated within easy reach of 2 emergency centres, however we are open 9-2 Saturday, and there would be a requirement for 1 in 3 Saturdays.  Full time staff have a rostered long weekend the week after working a Saturday to try and maintain some balance.  Sole charge is minimal, and we have regular discussions amongst vets about cases.  The schedule includes blocked times for phone calls & follow up, lunch breaks, and sometimes even a mocktail Friday.  Continuing education is supported and encouraged, and we have an hourly pay rate rather than salary, to ensure staff are paid for all the time they work.

If you’d like to come meet us and see if we could have the job you’re after, please send your application to nicole@keysivet.com.au

Still have questions or would like more information? Send us an email and we’d be happy to help you.
