FULL TIME VET NURSE REQUIRED SMALL ANIMAL PENRITH, SYDNEY

ATTENTION VET NURSES!!! Are you in Sydney and looking for a better job? Is your current work place unfriendly or unsupportive?

We would like to help you. At the base of the beautiful Blue Mountains is Penrith Veterinary Hospital, a family owned hospital with over twenty vets, nurses and receptionists that have worked together for many years. Over half of our staff have been with us for over 10 years.

Our practice has been established for 50 years, proudly building a loyal and caring client base. We are a busy small animal hospital that strives to provide the best care for our patients. We have eight vets with over 120 years of veterinary experience proficient in surgery, radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, high end medicine and many other disciplines. We have all of the usual machines to play with including a newly acquired arthroscopy unit. Our hospital physically doubled in size in 2013 and provides a hospital to be proud of in both size and presentation.

What is the advantage of being a family owned practice? Your focus can be on best patient and client care, not on having sales targets and processes to ensure you sell people things they don't need. You won't  be working by yourself or without any support. There is no on call work. Just nursing and reception duties with others around you backing you and helping out.

Hi I’m Lucy,

I’m a vet nurse at Kurrajong Village Vets which is a great place to work.

Last year I got married, now I’m expecting a baby and I’m going to need to take a little break. Soon.

Even though you'd fill the gap, this is actually a permanent job, even after I come back to work.

Kurrajong Village Vets is a small family practice, we’re busy, but we do have dedicated

Receptionists to control the dreaded phones and people out the front, so that you can mostly stay out the back. You will need to do some phone answering, but it’s not too much!

The hours are flexible, according to what suits us and you. Full time, part time whatever.

You would also be offered my other role of kitchen pixie, (only if you want it), as I am in charge of Wednesday’s toasties, and the Coles order of emergency snacks and drinks.

If this sounds like your kind of place, please give us a call. Deanne is on 02 4573 1216 most mornings or e-mail admin@kurrajongvets.com and we can set up a time that suits you to chat in complete confidence.
