GLENFIELD, AUCKLAND'S NORTH SHORE - SMALL ANIMAL New Position
It's time to abandon the mundane and embrace the extraordinary.
Are you ready to join a clinic that values individuality and independence in practice?
Look no further than Glenfield Veterinary Clinic.
We are in search of a dedicated and passionate veterinarian, following the successful four-year tenure of one of our colleagues who is returning to the UK. Our outgoing veterinarian is available to provide professional references and discuss the position further with interested candidates.
At Glenfield, we reject the notion of a "work-life balance" and instead strive for a harmonious integration of the two. Expect no after-hours work and a few 6:30 pm finishes per week, with one Saturday in three by roster (9:00 am - 1:00 pm) and no Sunday work. We also offer flexibility in scheduling to accommodate individual needs, such as long lunches for gym workouts.
Our clinic has a well-earned reputation for providing exceptional care to the local community and helping both people and animals in need. The majority of our clients are well-off, but we also serve less advantaged customers. You will have the autonomy to make decisions and provide the necessary care for all patients, without compromise. We will never have to put a family pet down due to a lack of funds, if we have the ability to intervene. This not only helps the community but also provides our veterinarians with the opportunity to develop their skills in treating underfunded animals.
At Glenfield, you will be part of a compassionate and close-knit team who love to chat and tell jokes with each other during the workday. Our veterinarians will assist each other in a caring and respectful manner whenever asked, our focus is on treating the animals not scoring points off one another. Our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with digital X-ray, in-house IDEXX blood machine, Ultrasound, and up-to-date surgical and dental equipment to provide the best care for our patients. We are a three veterinarian and five nurse practice.
