Singleton is a town on the banks of the Hunter River in New South Wales and is 202km from Sydney and 70 km from Newcastle
Founded more than 200 years ago, Singleton sits on the northern edge of the Hunter Valley wine region. This pretty riverside town has many well-preserved historic buildings, museums and an impressive new arts centre, and is surrounded by bushland and national parks.
Singleton's CBD precinct has recently been revamped and the main street has a smorgasbord of antique and vintage stores, cute cafes and pubs where you can dine on the freshest of ingredients grown in the lush pasturelands that surround the town.
