Dhahran is located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, it is the largest province making up around 36% of the total land area of the country. Pristine beaches on the Arabian Gulf make this region a popular tourist hot spot. It shares borders with the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Oman.
The city has both public as well as private schools. Most of the communities are gated and the city is well connected to other areas of the country via a great road network. Public transport is often limited to company operated buses or taxi services. The Mall of Dhahran is one of the biggest malls of the Eastern Province and has loads of department stores, you can virtually buy anything here.
