Napier is a seaport city, located in Hawke's Bay, on the eastern coast of New Zealand’s North Island, about 18km north of Hastings.
Known as the Art Deco City, Napier has the most comprehensive collection of inner-city art deco buildings in the world, and also houses the oldest wineries and wine-making establishments in the country.
Napier has some of the best sunshine hours in New Zealand, with mountainous shelter from prevailing westerly winds, and refreshing sea breezes.
