Scarborough is the northernmost suburb of Redcliffe City at the tip of the peninsula. It, along with Kippa-Ring, encompasses the locality of Newport, consisting of many canal frontage homes with artificial waterways. The suburb acts as a gateway to Moreton Island. It's known primarily for its thriving seafood industry and is a popular location for families and day visitors from Brisbane. The whole area is rich in natural resources with many sandy beaches and picturesque parks.
