Taree is a town on the Mid North Coast of NSW, 320km north of Sydney. Taree is the business centre of the Manning Valley and is nestled on the banks of the Manning River. It’s a lovely riverside town that serves as a great base to explore the hills, forests and deserted beaches in the area.
Taree has first class shopping centres, entertainment and sporting facilities, alfresco dining and peaceful riverside parks. The Manning Entertainment Centre, the Manning Aquatic Centre and Regional Art Gallery are all located in Taree.
Bustling markets take place at various locations each weekend, together with farmers markets that supply the freshest of local produce from fruit and vegetables to seafood.
