Wyong is a town of the Central Coast region of New South Wales and is a charming destination for day trips, weekend escapes and adventure holidays. Wyong is an easy drive from Sydney and Newcastle. The drive north from Sydney is about 75 minutes and south from Newcastle about an hour. A train trip from Central Station in Sydney is only about 100 minutes.
Ocean beaches and the other enticing attractions in Bateau Bay, Toowoon Bay, The Entrance and Norah Head are all within easy reach. The drive from Wyong to Crackneck Point lookout, a vantage point near Bateau Bay for spotting humpback whales on their annual migration, is only about 25 minutes.
The area boasts some of Australia's most rugged and scenic national parkland and recreation areas forming an impressive backdrop for the sweeping rural areas and coastal plains.
