Corowa is a new South Wales town located on the bank of the Murray River, the border between NSW and Victoria opposite the Victorian town of Wahgunyah.

Corowa is a historical town and regional centre and its location on the bend of the Murray River makes it a great place for water activities. It has its own fishing wharf and river beach known as "the Lagoon".

Prior to European settlement in the 1840s the indiigenous Bangerang people inhabited the Corowa district, prior to becoming a significant river port in the 1850s. After the 1893 People's Convention held in Corowa , the town became known as the 'Birthplace of Federation'.The town has a rich history and this is very evident.
