Are you a vet looking for a slower pace and a more rewarding way to practice?
We’re looking for a caring, gentle, confident, and independent veterinarian to join our mobile vet team for a temporary role
Dates: June 2nd - July 4th 2025
Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm, with 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Wage: $60/hour + super
Appointments: Maximum of 6 visits per day, 45-minute consults with 30 minute break in-between. No back-to-back consults.
Location: We are based in Inner-Melbourne, operating in a 9km radius of the CBD. A daily meet up location will be organised based on our nurse's and your location. Your personal car will not be required for travel to and from appointments.
Support: Always working alongside a dedicated, highly skilled nurse.
Nature of work: Predominantly working with geriatric cats and dogs, but our list of services are extensive including general consults, blood/urine testing, POC ultrasound, home euthanasia, BP monitoring, chronic illness management and vaccinations. Our clients are very kind and greatly appreciative of our services.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to step away from the pressures of a busy clinic and spend more time with each patient and client, providing compassionate, stress-free care in the comfort of their homes. It is ideal for somebody who wants to experience a different kind of role within the industry. We have strict fear-free methods to reduce our patient's anxiety and provide a gentle, personal experience for pets and owners.
