HOSPITAL VETERINARIAN - MATERNITY RELIEF ROLE (6 MONTHS) TO START ASAP

The Opportunity
Veterinary Specialist Services is excited to offer a six-month maternity relief position for a Hospital Veterinarian at our Underwood hospital to start ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of specialists, providing high-quality care within our well-established internal medicine and oncology services.

This role will support our internal medicine and oncology team by working in collaboration to provide the best outcome for our patients, clients and referring practices. It is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about internal medicine and oncology, and who is eager to gain further experience in a supportive and professional environment.

Veterinary Specialist Services is a renowned small animal referral organisation based in Southeast Queensland, with hospitals located in Underwood, Carrara, and Jindalee. We offer a broad range of veterinary specialty services supported by advanced diagnostic modalities and therapeutic interventions.

At our Underwood hospital, we offer a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary services, including Small Animal Surgery, Small Animal Medicine, Oncology, Feline Medicine, Cardiology, Emergency and Critical Care, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Dentistry, and Physiotherapy. What We Are Looking For

A veterinarian with a BVSc or equivalent, with registration to practice in Australia.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience, with a passion for internal medicine and oncology.
A collaborative team player who can integrate smoothly within our specialist team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients, clients, and referring veterinarians.
