Casual Vet Nurse
We are a friendly, fun team of professional animal lovers serving the vibrant Inner West community. We are looking for an experienced vet nurse for a casual position which the potential of moving to Permanent part time. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with a passion for a high standard of nursing, reception duties and enjoys a fast-paced varied case load. We are looking for someone to work 16-24hrs a week Mondays and Fridays with potential of Wednesdays.

We are a well-equipped, busy small animal practice that provides the community with high standard of veterinary and client care. We have all the equipment expected to work cases up to a high standard and are always happy to invest in the latest tech to continue to provide out client's access to the vet care they need without the need for referral. We have visiting orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgeons, allowing our nurse team to be involved with advanced and interesting cases. With an established team of experienced vets and nurses, this is a great opportunity to utilise your skills. We have an excellent client base who are dedicated to their pets and enjoy collaborating with the team on their care.
What we need from you:
- Cert 4 or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Be confident communicating with clients about their pet's care, ensuring a high standard of care is offered
- Work well within a team environment
- Confident on reception with phones, emails, client care and communication
- High standard of cleanliness and time management
- Use of RxWorks is desirable
