WHERE 🏞️: PYRAMID VETERINARY SURGERY in Cairns, North Queensland

Surgery hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm, Saturday 8.30am to 11.30am.
You will be the sole practitioner for the practice for the duration of the locum period with two veterinary nurses on every shift.
Accommodation is at the surgery which includes one bedroom, a self-contained area attached with a kitchen and living area.
Transport can be arranged for you to get picked up at the airport, once you have your travel arrangements finalised. A vehicle is provided for the duration of the locum period.
The practice is equipped with a bio chemistry analyzer, hematology analyzer, hand held UA urine analyzer, multi parameter, infusion pumps, glucometer and other basic diagnostic equipment.
Note no radiograph facilities.
Software Ezyvet, Vet radar & Modeus
You will not be required to work on public holidays or after hours.
You will be required to issue us an invoice for payment on weekly basis or at the end of the locum period, whichever you prefer.

We are a general practice solely working on small animals. We offer preventative health care with all the dental, desexing, trauma and soft-tissue surgeries. Anything that requires radiograph or intensive care or more intensive work-up can be referred to any of the larger surgeries in Cairns.

Gordonvale is a small regional town situated about 28km or 30 minutes south of Cairns and the people are friendly and our practice strives to provide quality pet care and personalized service.

If these arrangements are agreeable to you, I can arrange for you to be met and picked up at the airport, once you have your travel arrangements finalized.
