The nursing team at MCVH is a high-performance team that plays a vital role in support of our dedicated vet team providing exceptional care for our patients. Day to day responsibilities include surgical and anaesthetic nursing, nurse consults, admit and discharge of surgical and procedure patients, ensuring daily cleaning protocols of consistent high level and general office admin tasks.
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent;
- 4+yrs Vet Nurse experience highly regarded;
- Great problem solving and organisation skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- The ability to stay calm and work well under pressure;
- Drive to continue to learn and grow;
- Experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential);

- Your roster will operate on 10-hour shifts (4 shifts per week)
- Part time hours will be considered for the right candidate
- Some weekend work (on average one in six) on a rotating roster
- Above award wage, and commensurate with your level of experience
