Kippax Veterinary Hospital are excited to offer a fulltime receptionist position with the potential for nursing within that role for the right individual. We are looking for an experienced, bubbly, outgoing and approachable individual who can work in a high paced environment. Previous experience in the industry and leadership skills would be favourable. You will be apart of a wonderful front of house team who strive to ensure that all our clients and their pets are taken care of in alignment with our 'Care with Kindness' core values.

Kippax Veterinary Hospital is an ASAVA Hospital of Excellence and we pride ourselves on providing a wide variety of services; from routine health care to complex surgical, dental and hospital/emergency treatments.
Kippax is thrilled to be apart of the CPG (Capital Paws Group) which consists of 11 other vet clinics in Canberra and NSW, whilst still being proudly privately owned. We also work alongside the Brindabella Veterinary Referral Services (BVRS) within the KVH building to provide our patients with access to specialist services.

What the job entails:
- Greeting and assisting our clients and their pets on arrival to the clinic
- Phone triage of urgent and emergency patients
- First point of contact for our clients
- Handling enquiries
- Banking and other administrative duties
- Communication with the veterinarians and nursing team throughout the day regarding patients
- Ensuring the booking system is up to date, scheduling appointments and surgeries
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment and work space
