Veterinary Nurse Wanted – Join Our Team at Kalamunda Vet
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team in the Perth Hills.

We see a wide variety of cases, from routine check-ups to complex medical and surgical patients, which makes every day interesting and rewarding, we love our nurses to get involved and can’t wait to upskill you to perform the new tasks allowed by the VPBWA under the advanced nursing recognition.
The Role
As part of our nursing team, you will:
- Assist in surgical and medical procedures
- Perform dental prophylaxis
- Monitoring anaesthesia and taking radiographs
- Provide excellent patient monitoring and nursing care
- Perform nurse discharges and consultations
- Maintain high standards of hospital cleanliness and organisation
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Communicate effectively with owners, with warmth and understanding
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Registered with the VPBWA and has at least 4 years of experience
- Compassionate, motivated, and able to work well in a busy environment
- Confident in anaesthetic monitoring and inpatient care
- communicating with clients
- Flexible and a team player, with good attention to detail
- Committed to ongoing learning
