About You
- At least 2 years experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic setting is required
- You will have strong phone and client communication skills, including the confidence to navigate occasional challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism. We place a high value on building long-term, trusting relationships with our clients.
- You will be confident in the surgical space, able to assist with and run routine procedures independently alongside a veterinarian. While you will have nursing students and junior team members to support you, this role does require the ability to manage surgeries from start to finish without direct supervision.
- Organisation and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a kind, respectful, and ego-free environment. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to toxic behaviour - open communication and genuine teamwork are at the heart of how we operate.
- Able to perform reception duties and nurse consults (repeat injections, laser treatments, dental checks, nail clips etc) with competence and professionalism
- We are looking for someone who is eager to keep learning and growing, with full support from a team that values mentorship and professional development. Our team includes everyone from Cert III nursing students to highly experienced senior nurses with specialist skills.
About the Role
- Initially part-time or casual with the potential for full-time in the future
- No Public Holidays, After Hours or On-Call, but Saturdays from 8am to 2pm will be required
- Pay exceeds award and open to negotiation
- Special interests welcome, encouraged and financially supported
- Plenty of parking right at front
