Senior/Head Nurse - Part-Time or Full-Time, Maternity Position
Starting September 2025
- Possibility of ongoing Senior Nurse position after Maternity position is complete
- Must be available all days of the week including rotating Saturdays
Dr Paws Kotara is looking for a Qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team. We are a small, hard-working team who like to have fun whilst providing the best care for our Patients and Clients.
Our clinic is located in the picturesque town of Kotara, Newcastle, just two hours north of Sydney.
The successful applicant will:
- Confidence in all areas of veterinary nursing, including but not limited to surgery, hospital care, reception duties, and general cleaning
- High motivation and a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, growing clinical environment
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Competence in handling day-to-day tasks, including inpatient care
- A compassionate approach to making clients and their pets feel valued and at ease
- The ability to assist and mentor trainee nurses on a daily basis
