Asquith Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team. If you are a veterinary nurse with a minimum of 3 years in clinic experience and are looking for a full-time position with room for growth, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Handling of general nursing duties such as admission and discharge, providing advice to clients, nurse consultations, as well as some front of housework.
- Lead and support the veterinary nursing team
- Coordinate day-to-day clinical workflow
- Assist vets with surgeries, diagnostics, and patient care
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient handling
- Collaborate with the leadership team to improve processes and outcomes.
Requirements/Expectations:
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) – essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical practice
- Previous leadership or senior nurse experience highly regarded
- Excellent communication, organisational and people skills
- Passionate about patient care and team development
- Excellent surgical skills, experience with orthopaedics would be a bonus!
Our ideal candidate would:
- Have the ability to perform nursing tasks such as anaesthetic monitoring, nurse consults as well as advanced tasks such as blood draws and catheter placement.
- Possess great organisational and time management skills and well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have a high level of knowledge of veterinary nurses’ duties and procedures.
- Have a high level of patient care.
- Have experience using Ezy Vet practice software (but not essential).
- Be dedicated to maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the clinic.
