Are you a compassionate, experienced veterinary nurse ready to take the next step in your career? Asquith Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team. If you are a veterinary nurse with a minimum of 3 years in clinic experience and are looking for a full-time position with room for growth, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Handling of general nursing duties such as admission and discharge, providing advice to clients, nurse consultations, as well as some front of housework.
- Lead and support the veterinary nursing team
- Coordinate day-to-day clinical workflow
- Assist vets with surgeries, diagnostics, and patient care
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and patient handling
- Collaborate with the leadership team to improve processes and outcomes.
Requirements/Expectations:
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) – essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical practice
- Previous leadership or senior nurse experience highly regarded
- Excellent communication, organisational and people skills
- Passionate about patient care and team development
- Excellent surgical skills, experience with orthopaedics would be a bonus!
Our ideal candidate would:
- Have the ability to perform nursing tasks such as anaesthetic monitoring, nurse consults as well as advanced tasks such as blood draws and catheter placement.
- Possess great organisational and time management skills and well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have a high level of knowledge of veterinary nurses’ duties and procedures.
- Have a high level of patient care.
- Have experience using Ezy Vet practice software (but not essential).
- Be dedicated to maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the clinic.
