Experienced Veterinary Nurse
Asquith Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, Certificate IV-Qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team. If you are a veterinary nurse with in clinic experience and are looking for a full-time position with room for growth, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting vets in a variety of surgical and medical procedures.
- Providing a high level of care to hospitalized and boarding patients.
- Handling of general nursing duties such as admission and discharge, providing advice to clients, assisting in consultations as well as some front of house work.
Requirements/ Expectations:
- Minimum certificate IV in Veterinary nursing or equivalent.
- In clinic experience working as a veterinary nurse.
- Excellent surgical skills, experience with orthopedics would be a bonus!
- The ability to join a rotating weekend roster.
Our ideal candidate would:
- Have the ability to perform nursing tasks such as anaesthetic monitoring as well as advanced tasks such as blood draws and catheter placement.
- Possess great organisational and time management skills and well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have a high level of knowledge of veterinary nurses’ duties and procedures.
- Have a high level of patient care.
- Have experience using Ezy Vet practice software (but not essential).
- Be dedicated to maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the clinic.
