We’re currently looking for an experienced Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician to join our team at Aspley Veterinary Practice in a full-time role.

About the Role:
Our team of 2–3 veterinarians work in a long-established, highly regarded small animal clinic located on Brisbane’s Northside. We are fortunate to serve a loyal and caring clientele who value the relationships we build and trust our clinical advice.
This is a full-time position, with shifts scheduled over 4 / 4.5 days a week between the days and hours of:
Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 6:00pm
Every second Saturday: 7:30am – 12:00pm
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
- A genuine passion for veterinary nursing and animal care
- Strong communication skills – both face-to-face and over the phone
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to multitask, prioritise, and work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be competent in surgical and anaesthesia preparation and monitoring
- IV catheter placement, blood collection, and administering medications
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures
- Client education and customer service at reception
- Post-operative care and in-house pathology
- Assisting with imaging, including radiography and ultrasound
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and clinic organisation
